One of the most important cultural practices, collection and removal of foliage, because the accumulation of dead plant material (primarily leaves) makes it difficult for plant growth, reducing the power of penetration of water into the soil, retains nutrients to the soil surface, accelerating the development of disease and pest control, prevents the development of the root system etc. Collection of fallen leaves and its mechanical destruction greatly reduces pest populations that hibernate in the leaves. Foliage can be collected in several ways and in several phases, and this can be a complicated process, depending on terrain and access to machinery, and can be executed in one or more passages on the basis of what is done and machinery division which carries out the collection of foliage. The paper presents an overview of machinery, with its main exploitation characteristics for the collection and removal of foliage. Technical and technological solutions machines are very diverse, and it is applied to self-propelled, mounted, tow able equipment, and the equipment different strengths and capacities, different combinations of transmission wheels, wide working width and longitudinal mobility. Mechanization of new generation allows a quick and efficient way of collecting and primarily requires fewer labor in the process of collection. In our country there is no such our technical solutions, and there is no technology of what is seen and usefulness of this work, because the elimination of communicable diseases in orchards and vineyards, providing a reduction in the costs of its production process, and therefore the better and cheaper product.
