anglais. Studied are the sizes and forms of payment for labor of population employed in agriculture in the Soviet period. The main form of payment for labor of collective farmers was a labor-day unit. The disadvantage of the labor day consisted in the fact that the payment for labor was not associated with actual labor costs. The transition at the turn of 1920–1930's in the Soviet Union to the methods of the "command economy" was accompanied with strengthened measures of extra-economic coercion in the national economy. For collective farmers compulsory minimum of labor days was introduced and it was increased during the Great Patriotic War. The law specified a responsibility of the collective farmers and their families for its failure; he shows features of the application of this normative act in the Urals region. The materials of budget studies of peasant families proved a weak material interest of the Ural peasants in the development of socialist economy. The calculations as made demonstrate that mostly individual household played a decisive role for peasant families, but not a common economy. Individual household was the single source to get potatoes, meat, milk, eggs and almost the only source of acquiring vegetables. The exception to these products was grain; the common economy provided with grain the peasants' families by more than half. A similar situation was with money incomes of farmers. In the postwar years taxes on peasant increased significantly, but the payment of the workday in collective farms did not grow and was still very low. As a result, in 1930–1950 the main incentive for the collective farm peasants was not a labor day unit but a system of administrative and enforcement measures. it is concluded that, Soviet peasants were practically enserfed by the passport system introduced in the USSR. They were forced to work for free in the collective farms for the right to use their own homestead land, from which the products were only just enough to keep from starving.

russe. Исследуются размеры и формы оплаты труда занятого в сельском хозяйстве населения в советский период. Главной формой оплаты труда колхозников был трудодень. Недостаток трудодня заключался в том, что оплата труда по нему не была связана с фактическими трудовыми затратами. Переход на рубеже 1920–1930-х гг. в СССР к методам "командной экономики" сопровождался усилением мер внеэкономического принуждения в народном хозяйстве. Для колхозников был введен обязательный минимум трудодней, который в ходе войны был повышен. Законом была установлена ответственность колхозников и членов их семей за его невыполнение. Слабую материальную заинтересованность уральских колхозников в развитии общественного хозяйства подтверждают материалы бюджетных обследований крестьянских семей. Приводимые расчеты показывают, что в натуральных поступлениях крестьянской семьи решающую роль играло не общественное, а индивидуальное хозяйство. Оно было для колхозников единственным источником получения картофеля, мяса, молока, яиц и почти единственным - овощей. Только зерновыми общественное хозяйство обеспечивало потребности членов артелей более чем наполовину. Аналогичное положение было и с денежными доходами колхозников. В послевоенные годы налоги на крестьян заметно возросли, однако оплата трудодня в колхозах практически не увеличилась и по-прежнему оставалась крайне низкой. В результате в 1930–1950-е гг. стимулами трудовой деятельности колхозного крестьянства в СССР выступал не трудодень, а система административно-принудительных мер. Сделан вывод, что фактически закрепощенный введенной в СССР паспортной системой советский крестьянин был вынужден бесплатно трудиться в колхозах лишь за право пользоваться своим приусадебным участком, продуктов с которого едва хватало, чтобы не умереть с голода.
