A field experiment was established in 2010-2011 in Borovce, which is the Research Station of CVRV Piešťany. Influence of various soil tillage technologies and fertilization level on production of crop rotation was investigated. The target crop was silage maize. Results showed that silage maize was influenced by soil tillage technologies, followed by fertilization level of nitrogen. Cultivar had the lowest influence on silage maize production. The growing season influenced all examined characteristics (highly significantly) except for biogas energy.
