The combining ability GCA and SCA of 5 high lysine maize lines, homozigius by the Opaque-2 gene o2 for grain yield, length of the ear and number of the rows in the ear, was assessed in a system of diallele crosses by Griffings method 4. The triales with the crosses of F1 were carried out without irrigation and density of 44 000 plants/ha. Significant highest general combining ability GCA for grain yield, length of the ear number of rows in the ear was found in the line OT-25o2, which successfully can be used for developing of high-lysine synthetics with such characters. With highest specific combining ability SCA for grain yield are OT-27o2 and OT-25o2; for length of the ear are OT-42o2, OT-27o2 and R-80o2; and for the number of the rows in the ear – OT-42o2 and OT-27o2. These lines could be used in the heterosis breeding for developing of hybrids combinations with such a characters.
