Morphometric and meristic characteristics of Northern Golden Loach Sabanejewia baltica Witkowski, 1994 first recorded in the fauna of Belarus, are given. Comparison of the given materials with the analogical morphometrical data of Northern Golden Loach from different part of their local areas showed the presentce of substantial differences between different populations. For example, the studied fishes in Dniepr river authentically differed from fishes of populations in other Belarusian rivers such as Tisa, Dnestr, Bystritsa, Lukva, and Neman respectively by 23, 20, 18, 16 and 12 morphometric indexes. Northern Golden Loach fishes of the Nieman river authentically differed authentically differed from fishes of populations in other Belarusian rivers such as Tisa, Dnestr, Bystritsa, and Lukva respectively by 28, 27, 19, and 19 morphometric indexes.
