In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was summarized foreign experience of effective farm management. The analysed experience was based mainly on a family-labor principle which could be characterized by a high level of the state support, provided conditions for steady development of small forms of managing in agrarian sphere. As a result of the study there were made some conclusions. Farming is one of the most widespread and recognized forms of agrarian sector functioning in the majority of the states of the world community, and its development is defined by land tenure conditions, a level of an agriculture industrialization, traditions, a degree of use family and wage labor, and also a number of other factors. Family small-scale farms make a basis of an agricultural production of the states with the developed economy, but the satisfaction of a market demand for agricultural raw material and the foodstuffs in a greater measure is provided due to the large enterprises. In the developed countries of the world the farming is based mainly on the family-labor organization principle and is characterized by a high level of the state support providing conditions for steady development of small forms of managing in agrarian sphere. The steady tendency of a specialization deepening and manufacture concentration, integration of the facilities sizes on the basis of intensification and the best practices is observed in family farms of the developed countries. Besides, in many states of the world the community farmers are united in cooperative societies with a view of satisfaction of needs for resources, marketing activity realization, scientific and technical progress development, which allows resisting to monopolization, to lower costs and to increase efficiency of participant's activity. Twenty year experience of farming sector development in the countries with transitive economy confirms high enough rates of agricultural production manufacture growth, increase and optimization of farms number These conclusions are expedient for considering in practical activities of farms in Belarus.
