Study on effect of new complex mineral preparation on antioxidant status of dry cows and newborn calves, mineral turnover conditions of them and capacity of thyroid glands were realized. A new veterinary complex injection preparation (created by experts of the S.N. Vyshelesskij Inst. of Experimental Veterinary Medicine and the Institute of Physical Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences (Belarus)) was constructed for prophylaxis of trace elements at cattle. The preparation contains iron, iodine, selenium, cobalt, manganese, copper and colloidal solution of iron hydroxide. Colloidal solution of iron hydroxide contents considerable quantity polysaccharide instead of dextran. The polysaccharide was made out of vegetable substance home-produced in the Republic of Belarus. It was shown that this preparation recoup for deficiency iron, iodine, selenium, cobalt, manganese, copper at cattle and also increase antioxidant status, nonspecific immune reaction, erythropoiesis, optimize hormonal activity of thyroid hormones and reduce level of cadmium, lead, arsenic and uranium.
