The aim of the realized in the Republic of Belarus study was to rank a number of factors of clinical, laboratory and general economic types, reflecting the degree of quantitative contribution of each component for the effective establishing diagnosis of cattle diseases. With the help of the method of logistic regression we have ranged clinical, laboratory and general economic indicators, which reflect quantitative degree of input of each person into the result of research. We have established the combination of causes of different forms of hepatopathy of fattened cattle in Belarus. A constellation of factors that play a role in causing hepatopathy in fattening cattle in descending rank order can be expressed in the following way: in average daily weight gain, increased liver copper levels, the number of erythrocytes, the level of SOD activity, the amount of protein. Results of the analysis are not only prognostic but also differential diagnostic value to clarify peculiarities of hepatopathy and characteristics of their type in the study of animal populations.
