In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the influence of programmed complex 'Compass' on the increase in the level and quality of teaching automatized projecting of agricultural machinery to students. There were examined the abilities of Compass, which were realized while projecting units and aggregates of machines and its advantages in comparison with AutoCAD. There was shown the necessity and practicability of combined work of lecturers and specialists of the company, which supplies programmed components for the creation of integrated Compass-system. Such innovation approach increases engineering potential of specialists who are trained in the specialty 1-36 12 01 'Projecting and production of agricultural machinery' and significantly reduces the material resources needed for their retraining. The practice of the past 7 years has shown that the cost of development COMPASS in high school paid off in a relatively short period of time and in the monetary terms the costs were much lower than at a machine building enterprise. Application COMPASS provides the conversion of electronic data on the projected agricultural machines in the most important business resource of a company.
