The effect of number of plant per hill on yield of rice in Isfahan

In this study effects of rice plant number per hill on yield and yield components evaluated as on farm condition. Seed amount for sowing was 100 kg per 1000 square meter and plants number in hill were 2,3,4,5 and 6 as treatments. Row space was 25 cm too. The results showed effect of plant number per hill was significant on 1000 seeds weight and seed number on cluster. Most seed number per cluster was obtained from 5 plants per hill treatment (174 seeds per cluster) and then 2 and 3 plants per cluster treatments showed the most of seeds per cluster(161 and 154 S/C) respectively. Comparison of seed yield in all of treatments showed 4 plants per hill treatments product 9360 kg/ha seed rice and was the highest than others the lowest of seed yield obtained from 6 plants per hill treatments too.
