Study on agronomic characteristics and grain yield of winter and facultative bread wheat genotypes in uniform preliminary yield trial under cold and moderate cold dryland conditions.

Bread wheat has widespread plantation in the region because of it's invironmental biotic and abiotic stresses adaptation. This research with 107 genotypes was carried out in Ghamloo agricultural research station in order to access to high yeilding genotypes holding desirable agronomic characteristics. During growing season notes were taken on days to heading, days to maturity, plant height, lodging, disease development, pests and grain yield. Finally based on all agronomic trials and yield production comparing with check varieties(Sardari and Arar2) a number of 41 superior genotypes were selected. Selected lines will be studied in next advanced yield trials in cold region.
