In order to select and evaluate the most suitable runner regarding their vigour, yield and early fruiting, this study was carried out in Grize Research Station in Sanandaj Province during 2006-2009. Two kinds of runners (fresh daughter plants & cold storage stolons) and seven strawberry cultivars ('Kurdistan', 'Pajaro', 'Paros', 'Camarossa', 'Selva', 'Gaviota' and 'Queen Elisa') were compared in factorial experiment based on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four replications at 700 m2 area. The characteristics such as yield, fruit weight, and number of inflorescent, flower number, crown number, harvest date, TSS and pH were measured. The results in first year indicated that cold storage plants were better than fresh daughter's plants in totally. In second year of experiment, the cold storage plants of 'Queen Elisa', 'Paros' and 'Kurdistan' cultivars showed the high yield. 'Camarosa' and 'Selva' were medium and 'Pajaro' and 'Gaviota' due to incompatibility showed lower yield.
