Final Stage an Experiment of Campatibility of different Poplar Clones to Selection of Best Suitable ones

Research poplar and trees growing rapidly since the establishment 1992-1993 selection Treasury in Kohnehkand Bojnourd Natural Resources Research Station in North Khorasan Province was started, which during the 4 years with 42 clones of non-native and 95 clone of native collected from different regions of Khorasan previous, according to amount and uniformity of growth and resistance to pests, 21 clones were selected for compatibility studies. Selective clones in both groups open crown (11 clones) with distance implant 4×4m and closed crown (10 clones) with distance implant 3×3m in completely randomized block and implant 25 plant in each block were evaluated. 11 clones selected for planting with distance 4×4m including: P.e. 455, P.e. 262, P.e. 561/41, P.d. 69/55, P.e. triplo, P.d. 77/51, P.a. 17/60, P.a.44/13, P.n. 71/28*, P.a. 71/23* and 10 clones selected for planting with distance 3×3m including: P.n. 56/32, P.n. 62/154, P.n. 62/127, P.n. 62/191, P.n. betulifolia, P.a. 44/9, P.a. 49/39, P.n. 71/22*, P.a. 71/21*, P.trichocarpa is. The results during the 10-year growth among the crown closed clones shows that respectively P.a. 44/9, P.a. 71/21 (native), P.n. 56/32, P.n. 62/191, P.n. 62/127 had the highest yield and to each other statistically significant differences and in between crown do not open clones (with 4×4m spacing), respectively clones P.a. 44/13, P.e. 455, P.a. 71/28 (Native Closed Crown), P.d. 69/55, P.e. 561/41 had the highest yield and no statistically significant difference between the no. Alba clones highest resistance to major populus pests showed and pest aphid spruce waxy (Phloemyzus passerinii) most damage on some of has P.nigra clones and some clones were largely resistant to it. Most twig borer activity on some of clones ureamericana and also species has trichocarpa.
