In this recerch flora of semnan was collcted and identified in order to complete herbarium collection of semnan province This research was carried from 1383 for two years and using maps with 1:50000 scale . This study was started from south of province and extended to the other regions . From each species 2 or 3 sampels were collcted and all characteristics was at the spicimens recorded . A total 4585 plant spicimens were collected and 615 species were identified in the first phase of the research .In the second phase ( in this research ) the number of spicimens and species were increased . The total number of spicimens reached to 5000,from which 697 species were identified.There was a new specie and was named Astragalus badelehensis and introduced to the world .
