Effect of rumen content flour fermented by cellulolytic bacteria as feed substitution for rice-bran on broiler performance

The experiment tried to make benefit of rumen content flour fermented by cellulolytic bacteria as feed substitution of rice-bran for broiler. The measured parameters were feed consumption, the body weight gain and feed convertion. The experimental animals were 28 DOC, strain Arbor Acress CP 707. Experimental design used was a completely randomized design with four treatments and seven replicates. Four treatment groups were, PO was based ration 0 % rumen content flour of total feed, P1 was 10% rumen content flour fermented by cellulolytic bacteria of total feed, P2 was 20% rumen content flour fermented by cellulolytic bacteria of total feed, P3 was 30% rumen content flour fermented by cellulolytic bacteria of total feed. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance statistic method and if there were differences among the treatments, the Duncan's multiple range test was used. The result indicated that there were no significant difference (P > 0.05) in feed consumption, body weight gain and feed convertion. The conclusion showed that the use of rumen content meal fermented by cellulolytic bacteria as substitution for rice-bran up to 30% of total feed could be used in the daily ration for broiler.
