Tests to determine the presence of triterpenes or steroids, and the contents of alkaloids and saponins in plant samples collected from Taman Rimba Kenong were carried out on a total of 249 extracts. From a total of 83 extracts tested for alkaloids, only four extracts gave positive results in which all of them showed low content of alkaloids. Sixty-eight extracts on the other hand indicated the presence of saponins from 83 extracts tested whereby 9 extracts showed high contents of saponins. Tests for triterpenes or steroids on 83 extracts showed that 42 extracts gave positive results of triterpenes or steroids.

Ujian bagi menentukan kehadiran triterpena atau steroid, serta tahap kandungan alkaloid dan saponin dalam sampel tumbuhan yang dipungut dari Taman Rimba Kenong telah dilakukan ke atas sejumlah 249 ekstrak. Daripada sejumlah 83 ekstrak yang diuji alkaloid, empat ekstrak sahaja memberikan keputusan positif alkaloid di mana kesemuanya memperlihatkan tahap kandungan alkaloid yang rendah. Sebanyak 68 ekstrak yang lain lain menunjukkan kehadiran saponin daripada 83 ekstrak yang diuji dengan 9 ekstrak memperlihatkan tahap kandungan saponin yang tinggi. Ujian triterpena atau steroid ke atas 83 ekstrak mendapati 42 ekstrak memberikan keputusan positif triterpena atau steroid.
