The demand for more versatile and sensitive mechanisms and devices is increasing. More complex and responsive output requirements are needed by almost all sectors of the society, from industrial sector to agricultural sector. Fortunately, there are also great advances in different academic and research disciplines that help meet such requirements and demand of a modern society. The development in computer technology such as embedded computers, microcomputers, microchips, information and software innovations offered the potential to incorporate more control in present and future systems. Furthermore, other fields like mechanical, electrical, electronics, control and computer engineering are also making significant advances in different areas within their jurisdiction. However, it is necessary to deviate from purely traditional way of solving problems to an inter-disciplinary approach wherein the strong points of the disciplines mentioned above are combined to yield appropriate solutions to more sophisticated, versatile and complex problems for more demanding end-users and clients. In this kind of environment did mechatronics come out. Since its 'birth', mechatronics provided a proven and effective systems and devices to meet the requirements of the modern era. It synergistically combines mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer engineering and other disciplines, as needed, to develop a system as solution to a need. There is the strong, desire to find more agricultural applications of mechatronics which is used extensively in industry, medicine, and military.
