Fertilizers influence on grain yield and quality of spring durum wheat in the Volga forest steppe | Влияние минеральных удобрений на урожайность и качество зерна яровой твердой пшеницы в условиях лесостепи Поволжья

Experiments were conducted in 3 georgaphically remoted locations within the forest steppe of the Volga region (in the south of the Uljanovsk region, as well as in the Trans-Kama and Pre-Kama regions of the Republic of Tatarstan for at least 3-4 years in each location. The soils of the trial plots are leached chernozems or gray forsts. Spring hard wheat of varieties Bezenchukskaya 139, Bezenchukskaya 200, Svetlana was grown. The fertilizer rates to achieved the planned yeild (3 t/ha) were calculated by the account balance method based on the requirements of the plants in the mineral elements, their content in the soil, the ratios of their use of soil and fertilizer. It is shown that fertilizer stimulate an increase in the total photosynthetic potential of crop by 15 to 57%, grain yield - by 12 to 42%, the mass fraction of gluten - by 1.5 to 2.8% and the decrease in the water consumption coefficient by 12 to 42%. As to the grain quality, Bezenchukskaya 139 was the brst variety. The highest fertilizer conversion efficiency (5.4 kg grain per 1 kg of the active agent of the applied fertilizer) and thenyield close to the estimated one were achieved in the Trans-Kama region. The improving of wheat production technologies has significantly improved soil conditions, plant habitat. Improvement technologies of wheat allowed advancing the growing zone of hard wheat towards the more northern regions of the Middle Volga region.

Опыты проводили в 3 географически удаленных пунктах в пределах лесостепи Поволжья (на юге Ульяновской обл., а также в Закамье и Предкамье Республики Татарстан), в течение как минимум 3-4 лет в каждом из пунктов. Почвы опытных участков – выщелоченные черноземы или серая лесная. Выращивали яровую твердую пшеницу сортов Безенчукская 139, Безенчукская 200, Светлана. Нормы удобрений на получение планируемой урожайности (3 т/га) рассчитывали расчетно-балансовым методом исходя из потребности растений в элементах минерального питания, содержания их в почве, коэффициентов их использования из почвы и удобрений. Показано, что удобрения стимулируют увеличение суммарного фотосинтетического потенциала посева на 15-57%, урожайности зерна - на 12-42%, массовой доли клейковины - на 1,5-2,8% и уменьшение коэффициента водопотребления на 12-42%. По качеству зерна лучшим был сорт Безенчукская 139. Самая высокая оплата удобрений (5,4 кг зерна на 1 кг действующего вещества внесенного удобрения) и урожайность, близкая к расчетной, достигнуты в Закамье. Совершенствование технологий выращивания пшеницы позволило продвинуть зону выращивания твердой пшеницы в более северные районы Среднего Поволжья.
