anglais. In Turkey, a total of 24 genus and 90 species of orchids grow naturally. Among these 28 species are endemic. These plants flowers within very short vegetation period similar to most geofits. Tuberous orchid species are used to prepare salep. There are numerous researches carried out in Turkey on orchids.
