Achievement to the MEA fabrication technology is one the most important steps in polymer electrolyte fuel cell utilization. The aim of the present project was the fabrication of a membrane electrode assembly using a 115 Nafion membrane to produce a current density of 500mA\\cm2 at 600mV. The platinum loading, Nafion and isopropanol solvent content in the ink were optimized in a half cell system by employing the cyclic voltammetry method. The optimized ink containing C-Pt powder, Nafion and isopropanol was sprayed by an air brusher on the both sides of pre-treated nafion membrane. The MEA was prepared sandwiching the catalyst coated membrane between two gas diffusion layers. In the present project monocells and test station system were designed and constructed in our group. The polarization curves of membrane electrode assemblies with 25cm2 and 225 cm2 active surface areas showed above 560 mA\\cm2 current density at 600 mV and atmospheric pressure.
