Chemical control against overwintered adults of sun pest mostly has low efficacy. Today using insecticides and formulations that have durable toxicity on overwintered adults, is more approved, because this strategy can reduce treated area against new generation. This research was conducted with six treatments and four replications in randomized completed block design against overwintered adults of sunn pest. The treatments included delthametrin EC2.5% , fenitrothion EC50%, fenitrothion G5%, fenitrothion CS20%,fipronil G0.2% and check. The delthametrin EC2.5% was more effective than the rest treatments and had the least kernel rate of wheat. The efficacy of delthametrin EC2.5% was more than 80% at 20 days after treatment. Thus applying of pyrethroid insecticides can be more affected in chemical control of overwintered adults, and then chemical control of sunn pest can increase efficacy of insecticides by application of slow release formulation such as micro capsulated suspension (CS).
