Identification and diversity of torymid wasps (Hym.: Chalcidoidea, Torymidae) of Kurdistan Province

During study conducted in 2008 and2009, 21 species of the family Torymidae (Hym.: Chalcidoidea) were collected from Kordistan province, of which one genus and seven species were new for the Iranian fauna. The new records are marked by asterisks. The genus Torymoides newly record for the Iranian torymid fauna. The species are as follow: Bootanomyia dorsalis (Fabricius), Idiomacromerus perplexus (Gahan), I. terebrator (Masi), Glyphomerus stigma (Fabricius), Microdontomerus albipes (Giraud)*, M. annulatus (Spinola), Monodontomerus aereus Walker, M. obscurus Westwood, Pseudotorymus frontinus (Walker) *, P. leguminus Ruschka*, P. medicaginis (Mayr), P. salviae Ruschka*, P. sapphyrinus (Fonscolombe) *, P. papaveris (Thomson), P. ? krygeri Hoffmeyer, Podagrion minus Strand*, P. bouceki Delvare, Podagrionella lichtensteini (Picard), Torymoides dispar (Masi)* and Torymus ? nitidulus (Walker).
