One method to increase yield and earliness in cotton cultivation is high dense planting. Seed broadcasting and making ridge and furrow is an conventional and applying method in high dense planting cultivation that facilitate planting and decrease cost of it. Study of this method for increasing density in cotton cultivation and its effect on yield was necessary. For these reasons, a randomized complete block design with 6 treatments was conducted in Hashemabad cotton research station, Varamin, and Mazandaran in 2010 and 2011. Treatments were furrow (40,50,60,70,80 cm) and a 80*20 as control.. Seeds were broadcasted in 25 kg/ha. Design was planted after harvesting of wheat in Hashemabd station, but for the other stations planting were done on a normal time. Results in hashemabd station on the first year showed no significant differences between treatments for yield, but in the second year, yield of 40, 60, 70 were better than the other treatments. Result in Varamin showed that the best yield derived from 90 cm; and 50 cm treatment was in the lowest amount. In Mazandaran the best yield was in 60 cm, but between this treatment, cnotrol and 50 cm were not any significant differences. Key words: seed broadcasting, cotton, yield
