In this study Twenty four Advanced hybrids along with two commercial cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) varieties were evaluated in a randomized complete block (RCB) design with four replications in 2010-2011 at Hashemabad cotton Research station، Gorgan، Iran. The breeding material consisted of new advanced of upland cotton. Data were recorded on plant height, boll weight, seed cotton yield per plot, earliness and fiber charactristics. Significant (p0.01) variations were observed among the genotypes for most of the parameters. The NSK(847-8) genotype performed well by having maximum seed cotton yield, good maturity and fiber quality. The genotype NSK also showed appreciable genetic potential for fiber properties. Thus, the genotype could be introduce as new material for future cotton variety program in Golestan province. Keywords: Yiel, earliness, hybrid, cotton
