Comparison of yield and fruit quality of 8 commercial hazelnuts cultivars.

This study was second phase of compare vegetative and generative traits in 8 hazelnut cultivars project. This study has carried out to named:" Fertile de coutard, Ronde du pimount , Negret , Segorbe , Daviana, Cosford , lunge de spaine and Merveil de bollwiller" in the Astara hazelnut research station since 1386 for five years . Qualitative and quantitative traits and yielding of 8 hazelnut cultivars for 5 years were evaluated. Results of phonological data showed significant difference between 8 cultivars for traits studied. Fertile de coutard, Ronde du pimount and Segorbe were protoanderious. Negret was protogenious and Daviana, Cosford , lunge de spaine and Merveil de bollwiller were partial homogamy. Results showed that nut and kernel weight, kernel and blank percent, tree yield and total yield had significant difference. The most nut and kernel weight were in fertile and lowest those were in Negrat. The highest tree yield and total yield was observed in Segrobe the lowest that was in cosford cultivar.The highest kernel percent was observed in Daviana , Negret and Merveil de bollwiller the lowest that was in Fertile de coutard. The highest blank percent were observed in fertile and the lowest were in daviana cultivr. Key words: Hazelnut cultivars, Protogyny, Protoandry, Homogamy, Dichogamy, Self.
