Study on yield and yield components of chitti bean genotypes.

This study was carried out to select high yielding lines of the chitti bean that contained favorable agronomic characters. The experiment was included of 6 pure lines of land races of Fars province and 3 pure lines of land races of Zanjan with G14088 line and Khomain local as check ( totally 11 lines) were evaluated. In this experiment the randomized completed blocks design with three replication was used in three research station of Eghlid, Khomain and Zanjan for two years. In addition to taking care of field agronomic characters of these lines were recorded during the growth and development periods. In each of stations yield and yield components were compared on the basis of simple variance analysis and then the means of treatments compared with using duncan test. The combined analysis result showed that the Z1 line of Zanjan (2564 kg/h) and the E10 , E9 Lines of Eghlid (2328,2313 kg/h) had higher yields than two checks a significant difference at level %5. In compose analysis variance table, amoung the yield components only the pod number per plant was statistically significant at %5 and interaction between local * tret ,year* local and tret* local* year were significant on 100 seeds weight. At last two pure lines E10, E9 showed agronomic desirable traits similar maturity and marketing quality than Z1 line, were selected for Eghlid and other similar regions.
