To compare the three planting methods including usual seed planting , no-tillage and pot plating, in the two times, the first planting and delay planting after harvesting of wheat an experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design with three replications at two stations Karkandeh and Hashem Abad. The results in Karkande station showed that, plant height, first and total harvests were significant at the 5% level in two planting date, and other characteristics were not significant. Verticillium wilt index was not significant in any treatments but it was the first planting date more than delay planting. Also this index in no-tillage method was less than two other methods. In evaluation interaction effect between planting date and planting methods, the most verticillium disease index was the first planting by usual planting cotton seed and the least index was the first planting and no-tillage. The results in Hashem-Abad station showed that first, second and total harvesting was significant at the 1% level and was not significant in other characteristics. Total yield of the first planting date was more than delay planting. The pot planting had the least yield and no tillage had the highest yield. Key words: Cotton, pot planting, no tillage, diseases and pests and Golestan province
