Revision and determination of pesticide mazimum residue levels (Mrls) I vegetables.

Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) is a refrence for international trade, and is based on the analysis of the quantity of a given pesticide remaining on agricultural product samples. According to the item of the plant protection legislation the Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection (IPPRI) is responsible for the determination of MRLs on the agricultural produces. To achieve this a committee was established for detemination of the National MRLs, taking into consideration various methods of determination and the information on the per capita dietary intake of various produces and pesticides usage. The aim of the present research is to determine the national MRLs on various vegetable. This project is part of a program which determined NMRLs on the vegetables, and is presented to the Institute of standard and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) for approval.
