Quality control of soil laboratories results.

Thesedays numerous private soil, water and plant laboratories have been established all over Iran, it seems that there should be a control system on accuracy of the results. It is necessary to control the results using modern and valid methods. Quality control is a collection of procedures, assess the accuracy and precision of analytical results and causes the increase in precision of results and decreases the skewness of results. Although some quality control samples were sent to laboratories and the results were collected during past past years, but there is no compiled report about the results of control decisions or methods used for controlling. The aim of this study was to establish a sustain quality control system for resuls of soil plant samples analyzed in governmental or private laboratories. Quality control samples were collected in a large amount and after preparation they were homogenized carefuuly.Then secrete codes were allocated to samples. Two soil and two plant samples were sent for each laboratory and they sent the results to soil and water research institute after one month. This project was done for two years. We used the method introduced by Wageningen university for statistical analysis in quality control procedure. The results showed that the most number of satisfactory results is related to soil phosphorus in first year of project and clay percentage and soil pH in addition to to plants Mn in second year and the most number of critical results is related to soil K and TNV in first year and soil TNV and plant K in second year.
