Salinitiy Effects on the Grow and Concentration of Chemical Compositions in the five Citrus rootstocks.

Citrus are the most important orchard crops in north of khuzestan province and if some planting difficulties are solved it could be developed in most the province areas. One of the most important difficulties salinity of irrigation water and selection of salinity to learnt varieties is one of the ways of confronting this problem. In this research tolerance of five citrus stocks including one year soar orange, volkameriana, tris citrenge, lemon and Poncirus to four levels of salinity was studied in greenhouse using a completely randomized design with factorial arrangement of treatments with three replications. Salinity was as main factor and cultivar was as sub factor. Treatments included: Water of Dez irrigation network with average salinity of 500 micro mohs/cm as control and salinities of 2500, 4500, 6500 micro mohos/cm from wells of the area. Results indicated that with increasing of salinity level leaf area index, plant height, percent phyto toxicity, root dry weight and root volume decreased.Laim orange and orange stocks had the least and tris citrange and volkameriana and Poncirus had the most growth rate decrease.
