Geographical-geochemical peculiarities of fluorine spread in natural components of Odessa region and its impact on some dental diseases of the population

A systemic study on migration and accumulation of fluorine in natural components, such as soils, parent rocks, ground and surface waters, has been carried out for the first time. Territories with higher and lower fluorine content in soils, bedrocks, ground and surface waters, including drinking water, have been identified. The industrial zones of the Odessa City characterized by higher content of fluorine in soil and plants have been identified. Dependence of some dental diseases of the Odessa Region population on the fluorine content in drinking water has been established.
