Assessment of forest productivity was carried out at the average growing stock, info obtained from the data of state forest inventory. To analyze the dynamics of the average growing stock has been allocated three groups of species: coniferous, hardwood and softwood, and four age groups: the young, middle-aged, ripening, ripe and overripe. The dynamics of productivity stands at 12 macroregions of the Russian Federation was studied. An assessment of changes in forest productivity features with the help of mathematical modeling methods was done.
