Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]Studies on different processing methods and utilization of sweet potato leaves were conducted at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue, and at Huong Van village, Huong Tra district, Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam, from September 2001 to January 2003. The aim of the 1st study was to determine ileal and total tract digestibility in growing pigs fed a cassava root meal basal diet with inclusion of casein, fresh sweet potato leaves, dry sweet potato leaves and ensiled sweet potato leaves. The 2nd study included 2 feeding experiments to evaluate the effects of ensiled sweet potato leaves as a protein supplement in diets for growing pigs.
