During heat supply of buildings, distant from boiler station and demand of high level of automation of processes of heat consumption, more and more widely is used electrical energy for heating of indoor space and hot water supply of living, public and production buildings. The article presents the explanation of the use of heat pumping machinery in systems of heat supply, which substantiates the expected economy of electricity while using heat pumping machines for preliminary heating of heat-transfer. Application of the system of heat pumping leads to economy of electrical energy up to 34-77% depending on the condition of usage, types and temperatures of heat sources with low and high potential. Along with this, mass utilization of heat pumping machines in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus is difficult because of high tariffs on electricity and expensive cost of heat pumping machines themselves.
