In course of long research there was studied the influence of straw ploughing and ways of the use of intermediate crops on the change of organic substance content in soil in grain crop rotations. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of realized research it was revealed that straw ploughing in grain crop rotation did not significantly increase the humus content in the soil. It only remained at its original level with some tendency to increase. Increase the accumulation of humus in the plow layer (0-20 cm) from the use of straw manure for three rotation (26 years) was 8 times greater than that of straw plowing in pure form (respectively 0.16 and 0.02%). In crop rotations with a 75% saturation of grain, as in manure, mineral and mineral fertilizer application systems using crop crops to feed had a positive effect on the accumulation of humus in the soil due to the additional revenues and post-cut root residues. Over the three rotations on the background of NPK the increase ranged from 0.03 to 0.07%, and on the background of the straw manure + NPK - from 0.16 to 0.19%. Cruciferous crop tillage crops for green manure did not increase the humus content of the soil. On the contrary, there was a decrease in its content. On the background of NPK increase over a 26-year period decreased from 0.07 to 0.02%, and on the background of the straw manure + NPK - from 0.19 to 0.13%.
