Different soil and climatic conditions require special perspective sorts and species of grasses, grown for feed aims. Hungarian sainfoin (Onobrychis arenaria) represents grass specie with high protein content and high level of drought resistance, but poor in carbohydrates concentration. Cultivation of Hungarian sainfoin is reasonable in mixture with cereal cultivars, especially with awnless brome (Bromus inermis Leyss), possessing high level of productivity. Both grass species are similar by development stages and their mixture produce high crop yield level. The main goal of the research appears development of the technology of the creation of high productive long-term grass mixture of Hungarian sainfoin (Onobrychis arenaria) and awnless brome (Bromus inermis Leyss) of different seeding norms in the conditions of Gomel region (South-Eastern part of the Republic of Belarus). The researches have been carried out in the conditions of experimental field of Gomel Regional Agricultural Experimental Station of the National academy of sciences of the Republic of Belarus. During the experiment botanical composition of the grass mixtures has been analyzed; productivity of the grass mixtures of the both grasses has been evaluated. Correlation between Hungarian sainfoin and awnless brome is measured; optimal composition of the both grasses is outlined. The highest crop yield level of the absolute dry matter is assessed; yield increase is calculated.
