The aim of this study was to know the influence of Azolla compost application in planting medium on growth, production and quality of Pleurotus fluida. This study was conducted at Patrang District of Jember from 1st February until 28th of June 2009. The design of experiment was randomized completely block design with three treatments and one control replicated three times. Treatment were control, Azolla compost at 100 g/bag-log, Azolla compost at 200 g/bag log, Azolla compost at 300 g/bag log, and Azolla compost at 400 g/bag log. Parameters observed were mycelium growth, fresh, and dry weight, and the number of seedlings. The result showed that application of Azolla biomass significantly increased growth, production and quality of Pleurotus fluida
