Determination of the prevalence and severity of fungal foliage and head diseases occurring in the barley growing areas of Eskiþehir province of Turkey | Eskiþehir ili arpa ekim alanlarýnda görülen fungal yaprak ve baþak hastalýklarýnýn görülme sýklýklarýnýn ve yoðunluklarýnýn belirlenmesi

Bu çalýþma ile Eskiþehir ili arpa tarlalarýnda görülen fungal yaprak ve baþak hastalýklarý belirlenmiþtir. 2012 yýlýnda, Mihalgazi ilçesi hariç toplam 13 ilçede sürvey çalýþmalarý yürütülmüþtür. Her ilçeden ilçeyi temsil edecek kadar örnek toplanmýþ ve toplam 121 tarla incelenmiþtir. Toplanan örneklerin yaprak ve baþak hastalýklarý belirlenmiþ ve kaydedilmiþtir. Bunlar içerisinde yaprak hastalýklarýndan, að benek (Drechslera teres), çizgili yaprak lekesi (D. graminea), kahverengi pas (Puccinia hordei), Rhynchosporium yaprak lekesi (Rhynchosporium secalis), külleme (Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei), sap kýsmýnda kara pas (Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici) ve baþak hastalýklarýndan ise rastýk (Ustilago spp.) belirlenmiþtir. D. teres tarafýndan meydana getirilen arpa aðbenek leke hastalýðý ve R. secalis tarafýndan meydana getirilen arpa yaprak lekesi hastalýðý en yaygýn hastalýklar olarak bulunmuþtur.

anglais. In this study, fungal foliage and head diseases occurring in the barley growing areas of Eskiþehir province of Turkey were determined. In 13 districts of the province, except for Mihalgazi district, survey studies were carried out in 2012. During the survey studies that represent all parts of province, prevalence and intensity of fungal foliage and head diseases were determined. Samples representing the each district was collected. A total of 121 fields were examined. The fungal foliage diseases determined were net blotch (Drechslera teres), barley stripe (D. graminea), leaf rust (Puccinia hordei), scald (Rhynchosporium secalis), powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei) and stem rust (Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici). Smuts (Ustilago spp.) were determined as head diseases. Net blotch caused by D. teres and scald caused by R. secalis were found as the most common diseases.
