Food security of the Republic of Belarus from the position of economic access to food

Представлена оценка уровня продовольственной безопасности Республики Беларусь с позиции экономической доступности продовольствия на основе изучения потребительских расходов домашних хозяйств на покупку продуктов питания, темпа роста цен на основные продовольственные товары, расчета стоимости основных пропитания в зависимости от уровня потребления населением страны. На основании выполненной оценки экономической доступности продовольствия можно сделать вывод, что стоимость продовольствия в Республике Беларусь в 2014 году по отношению к доходам населения является весьма высокой, в отдельных случаях критической. Дальнейший рост цен на продовольствие необходимо увязывать с ростом доходов всех граждан, которым в свою очередь следует проявлять потребительский патриотизм.

In a course of the research there was studied the level of food security of the Republic of Belarus from the standpoint of economic accessibility of food on the basis of a study of household consumption expenditure on food, the growth rate of prices of basic food products, the calculation of the cost of basic foods, depending on the level of consumption the population of the country. Based on the completed assessment of the economic accessibility of food, it can be concluded that the cost of food in the Republic of Belarus in 2014 in relation to the incomes of the population is very high, in some cases critical. The further rise in food prices must be linked with the growth of incomes of all citizens, who in turn should display consumer patriotism.
