Efficiency of propagation methods of raspberry-blackberry hybrids of Loganberry and Tayberry and their economic and biological estimation

The article presents the possibility of propagation of two raspberry-blackberry hybrids of Loganberry and Tayberry by different ways (micropropagation and rooting of apical buds of shoots) in vitro and in vivo. The investigation of propagation features of raspberry- blackberry hybrids showed high indexes for both hybrids during propagation in vitro. Loganberry plants surpassed Tayberry plants by propagation index but had shorter shoots. Using rooting of apical buds of shoots technique in the first year after planting from one bush of Loganberry 1-2 rooted plants were obtained, and 4-5 rooted plants were obtained from one bush of Tayberry. For mass propagation of Loganberry plants in vitro multiplication is recommended, for raspberry-blackberry hybrid Tayberry it is preferable multiplication by rooting of apical buds of shoots in vivo conditions. Micropropagation should be used for plants recovery and accelerated reproduction. Early maturing, high-yielding, large-fruited raspberry-blackberry hybrid Tayberry has been highlighted on a complex of economically valuable traits demonstrated in the field conditions.

В данной статье обоснована возможность размножения двух малинно-ежевичных гибридов Loganberry и Tayberry различными способами (микроразмножение и пульбо- вание) в условиях in vitro и in vivo. Изучение особенностей размножения малинноежевичных гибридов выявило высокие показатели у обоих сортов при культивировании в культуре in vitro. Растения сорта Loganberry превзошли растения сорта Tayberry по коэффициенту размножения, но имели более короткие побеги. С использованием метода пульбования в первый год после посадки из одного куста сорта Loganberry получено 1-2 укорененных растения, сорта Tayberry - 4-5. Для массового размножения сорта Loganberry рекомендовано культивирование in vitro, для малинно-ежевичного гибрида Tayberry - пульбование в полевых условиях. Культуру микроклонального размножения следует использовать для оздоровления растении и ускоренного размножения. По комплексу хозяйственно ценных признаков в полевых условиях выделен раннеспелый высокопродуктивный крупноплодный малинно-ежевичный гибрид Tayberry.
