Effectiveness of the negative and tuber selection in high grade of potato seed production

В статье приведены результаты изучения эффективности негативного и клубневого отборов при производстве семенного картофеля (Solanum tuberosum) высших репродукций и их влияния на продуктивность и качество посадок. Объектом исследований служили сорта картофеля Лилея, Живица, Рагнеда. Клубневой и негативный отборы способствовали снижению доли растений, пораженных вирусами в латентной форме сортов Лилея, Живица и Рагнеда на 1,4–4,2% по отношению к контролю. Количество выбракованных растений в период вегетации в зависимости от года и репродукции составило 1,1–23,3 %. Проведение негативного отбора в процессе производства семенного картофеля способствовало повышению продуктивности одного растения у изучаемых сортов на 11,4–28,0 %, только клубневого отбора – 8,1–9,7, а клубневого и негативного отборов – на 16,6–33,3 %. Эффективность совместного проведения клубневого и негативного отборов подтверждена полученной прибавкой урожая, которая составила в среднем за 3 года 2,9–7,0 т/га в зависимости от сорта.

The research showed the results of studying the effectiveness of negative and tuber selection for the seed production of potato (Solanum tuberosum) of high grade reproductions and its impact on yield and quality of plantings. The objects of research were potato varieties Lileya, Zhivitsa and Ragneda. Tuberous and negative selection helped to reduce the proportion of plants infected by viruses in a latent form in the varieties Lileya, Zhivitsa and Ragneda on 1,4-4,2% in comparison with the control. The quantity of rejected as defective plants during the growing season depending on the year and the reproduction was 1,1-23,3%. Carrying out the process of the negative selection in the production of seed potatoes made it possible to increase the productivity of plants of the studied varieties on 11,4-28,0%, carrying out of tuberous selection - 8,1-9,7, and tuber and negative selection - at 16,6-33 3%. The effectiveness of combined realization of the tuber and negative selection is confirmed by the obtained yield increase, which amounted to an average of 3 years 2,9-7,0 t / ha depending on the variety.
