The parameters of water exchange, photosynthesis and redox status of cells of leaves of basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) under water deficit

Цель работы – установить соотношение параметров водного обмена, интенсивности процессов фотосинтеза, дыхания и редокс-статуса клеток листьев растений базилика, сформировавшихся при пониженном водном потенциале корнеобитаемой среды и охарактеризовать потенциально стрессоустойчивый фенотип. Приведены результаты исследования морфофизиологических, биохимических и биофизических параметров растений базилика душистого (Ocimum basilicum L.) при пониженном водном потенциале субстрата. Показано, что наибольшим адаптивным потенциалом обладают растения базилика, выращенные при -16кПа. Они характеризовались ксероморфной структурой мезофилла листа, повышенным периодом сохранения тургора ткани, повышенной скоростью ассимиляции СО2 и коэффициентом эффективности фотосинтеза по О2, максимальной эффективностью переноса электронов в ФС, минимальным количеством фенольных соединений и высокой антирадикальной активностью.

anglais. Global climate changes causing long drought period increase the necessity of selection of water-stress resistant plants. Key physiological processes of plants such as water exchange, photosynthesis, plant breathe and oxidation status of plant cells appear the main direction of the research presented in the article. The results of complex morphological and physiological, biochemical and biophysical studies of phenotypes of basil plant (Ocimum basilicum L.) under reduced water potential of the substrate have been presented. Parameters of morphological structure and water exchange of mesophyll tissue, content of photosynthetic pigments and CO2 assimilation of leaves of basil plant grown within different water potential of the substrate have been analyzed. It has been shown that the most adaptive potential of basil plants is grown at -16 kPa. They are characterized by xenomorphic leaf mesophyll structure, increased tissue turgor retention period, an increased rate of CO2 assimilation and the coefficient of efficiency of photosynthesis by O2, the maximum efficiency of electron transfer in the FS, a minimum amount of phenolic compounds and high anti-radical activity.
