Seed efficiency of types of the genus Paeonia L.

russe. Цель наших исследований – изучение репродуктивной биологии 7 видов рода Пион, интродуцированных в Беларуси. В статье приведены результаты изучения репродуктивной биологии, данные о завязываемости плодов, семенной продуктивности, а также некоторые морфологические характеристики плодов и семян видов рода Paeonia, интродуцированных в Центральном ботаническом саду НАН Беларуси. Все исследованные виды рода Paeonia L. ежегодно цветут и плодоносят, некоторые формируют самосев, что свидетельствует о высокой степени адаптации растений к местным условиям. Для всех видов характерен высокий процент завязываемости плодов (около 90 %). Семенная продуктивность зависит от биологических особенностей вида, в частности от сроков цветения. Максимальная семенная продуктивность отмечена у раннецветущих видов.

anglais. Paeonia genus includes about 40-47 species valuable due to their floristic characteristics, such as early blossoming, different coloring and beautiful leaves. The main goal of the research appears evaluation of the reproductive biology of 7 species of Paeonia genus introduced in the Republic of Belarus. The research has been carried out during 2008-2014. The article presents the results of the reproductive biology study, gives fruit set and seed production data as well as some morphological characteristics of fruits and seeds of the genus Paeonia species, introduced in the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus. For the research a special technology of evaluation of seed productivity has been used. Set of fruit, seed productivity and morphological characteristics of introduced species of Paeonia genus has been analyzed. The morphologcal peculiarities of fruit and seeds of Paeonia species have been revealed.
