In a course of the research there was studied methods of planning the program of development of processing industry organization, which helps to base initial information of economic-mathematical problem and future volume and range of output. The proposed method helps to make more adequate management decisions in specific economic conditions and develop measures to improve the economic efficiency of production and to obtain competitive products. In order to increase the competitiveness of both products, JSC ‘Orsha Meat Cannery’ is recommended to: increase production and sales of products, increase the turnover of funds, increase exports, decrease non-production costs, prevent the production and sale of loss-making products, constantly update the range of products and increase in the volume of production with increased competitiveness and added value, logistics supply finished products, implementation of energy saving and technical re-equipment programs, implementation of measures to save costs.

Предлагаемая методика позволяет принимать более адекватные управленческие решения в конкретных условиях хозяйствования и разработать мероприятия с целью повышения экономической эффективности производства и получения конкурентоспособной продукции. С целью повышения конкурентоспособности как выпускаемой продукции, так и ОАО ‘Оршанский мясоконсервный комбинат’ рекомендуется: увеличение объемов производства и реализации продукции, увеличение оборачиваемости финансовых средств, наращивание объемов экспорта продукции, сокращение непроизводственных расходов, недопущение производства и реализации убыточной продукции, постоянное обновление ассортимента выпускаемой продукции и увеличение объема производства продукции с повышенной конкурентоспособностью и добавочной стоимостью, логистика поставок готовой продукции
