Water quality monitoring of the Drina River Basin has been implemented in continuity since 2001 within surface water quality monitoring in the Republic of Srpska. The paper shows the main points of these activities related to defining of investigated quality elements and the assessment of determined water quality in accordance with values prescribed by the Regulation on water Classification and Watercourse categorization (Official Gazette of the republic of Srpska, No 42/01) at measurement profiles in the Drina River Basin.
