The article is devoted to the problem of improving the quality of life of the population; Bread is marketed by the authors as a generic product able to support the food security of the country because of its rela tive cheapness and widespread among the population; In the article the multidimensional grouping of regions of Russia is done which allows to determine the direction in promoting the production of bread and bakery products, taking into account certain region specific features.

В статье проводится многомерная группировка регионов РФ, которая позволяет определить направ ления в области стимулирования производства хлеба и хлебобулочных продуктов с учетом особенно стей конкретного региона.
