anglais. Article is devoted to a research of formation of food security of the region. It is justified that food security in an economic safety creates a basis of activity of people. A solution of the problem of food supply and formation of food security of the region can become creation of an agrofood cluster which will allow to provide mutually advantageous functioning of participants of this process and also, to gain synergy effect.

Обосновано, что продовольственная безопасность в экономической безопасности формирует основу жизнедеятельности людей. Решением проблемы продовольственного обеспечения и формиро вания продовольственной безопасности региона может стать создание агропродовольственного кла стера, который позволит обеспечить взаимовыгодное функционирование участников данного процес са, а также, получить синергетический эффект.
