The experiment consists of 11 fertilizer treatments ranged in random complate block design RCBD with 3 replications, was conducted in two seasons including summer- autumn 2012 and winter-spring 2012 - 2013 on the alluvial soils in Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen commune aimed to determine a reasonable rate of fertilizer combination for rice. Research results have shown when application of 10 tons of manure + 100 kg N + 60 kg P2Os + 60 kg K2O + 500 kg lime/ha or 15 tons of manure + 75 kg N + 45 kg P2O5 + 45 kg K2O + 500 kg lime/ha obtained the highest theory and actual yields (82.7 quintals/ha - spring season and 78,5 quintals/ha - summer season). The highest gross margin were observed at these rates, VCR was ranging from 2.82 - 2.92. Some chemical characterisitcs of soil has been changed, specially at higher rate of manure application. Therefore, it is suggested that farmers should apply of 10 tons of manure + 100 kg N + 60 kg P2O5 + 60 kg K2O + 500 kg lime/ha or 15 tons of manure + 75 kg N + 45 kg P2O5 + 45 kg K2O + 500 kg lime/ha for OM2695-2 variety on alluvial soils in Hoa Xuan Tay commune, Dong Hoa district to achieve high yield and economic efficiency and also improving some chemical properties of soil after experiment.
