Two ways of supplementing the diet with leucaena leaf meal are conducted. The first way is: the diet was supplemented with leucaena leaf meal and which had the same in terms of metabolizable energy (ME) and crude protein compared with control group. The second way is to replace a part of the control diet with leucaena leaf meal without balancing energy and protein as control group. The results showed that: The both ways of supplementing the diet with leucaena leaf meal increased egg productivity/hen, the rate of chicken class 1/hatching eggs, reduced feed consumption and feed cost per 10 eggs, hatching egg and one chicken class 1 compared with control group with significant different (p 0.05). The first way increased hatching egg/hen and the rate of chicken class 1/hatching egg than the second way was 1.75 % and 0.17%, but no significant different (p 0.05). The second way had feed cost per one chicken class 1 higher than the first way was 17 VND/chick and 0.72%. Thus, In farming, we can supplement leucaena leaf meal into the diet as second way still achieve good results.
