Expresión diferencial de genes bajo condiciones de estrés hídrico en Prunus L .
2014
Bielsa, B.
Soil water resources will be reduced by climate change; therefore it is necessary to understand the response of roots to drought conditions. The genotypes peach × almond 'Garnem' (P. amygdalus x P. persica) and their progenies, the tri-hybrid 'P.2175' x 'Garnem'-3 and tri-hybrid' P.2175 'x' Garnem'-9 (P. cerasifera x [P. amygdalus x P. persica]) were submitted to a period of water deficit. Leaf water potential, stomatal conductance, percentage of epinasty and ash content were analysed, as well as the expression of four genes by RT-qPCR related to ABA synthesis. Physiological responses showed significant differences along the experiment and among the genotypes. A20/AN1 zinc finger and bZIP transcription factors showed differences in expression relative to the target genes LEA protein and dehydrin under drought and recovery treatment, showing a regulatory response to water stress in Prunus genotypes.
